A vast number of castles and palaces in the area testifies to the historical wealth of the lands. Today most of them are turned into ruins which remind us of the former greatness of the Lower Silesia region. The ones who like to search the traces of the old court life certainly will not be disappointed. The South-Western loop of the route leads partly along Równina Wrocławska and then crosses Wzgórza Lipowe range where the gentle hills are not high, but still you need to overcome a few climbs. The route starts and finishes in Strzelin next to Dukes of Brzeg Renaissance House. The palace in Kondratowice constructed on the castle site stands out with its greatnessfrom the extant eight objects. The renaissance courtyard in Lipowa even significantly damaged is of high value. To slightly shorten the tour you can go back to Strzelin by train from the railway station in Biały Kościół.
