Wieżyca Brewery ABOUT US Brewery in the Ślęża Massif dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The first brewery in Sobótka was established in 1817. It was founded by Baron Ernst von Lüttwitz. The beer was brewed using the Bavarian method. Water for beer production was obtained from the so-called "Źródła Piwniczne", this brewery existed until the end of the 1990s. We decided to continue this wonderful tradition in this region. Our beginning… The Wieżyca Brewery was created from the idea of one person who, with his passion for beer and the desire to revive the traditional taste of beer from Sobótka, revived in all of us the desire to create a drink with a unique and unique character. The first brewing took place on March 27, 2018, and after a month we were able to drink our first light lager. In our brewery you can drink classic lagers, which owe their unique taste to a well-balanced composition of malts, and the light bitterness and aroma are provided by carefully selected types of hops. Get to know our beers, each of them is a bottom-fermented beer, aged for a minimum of 35 days. It is unpasteurized and unfiltered. BRIGHT TOWER Our Bright WIEŻYCA is characterized by a noticeable mildness of taste and a delicate bitterness (IBU 30*). It is a beer with an extract content of 12% by weight. and alcohol content approx. 5% vol. AMBER TOWER Our Bursztynowe WIEŻYCA owes its rich maltiness to carefully selected top-quality malts. The bread flavor with a slight caramel flavor is balanced with bitterness obtained from Polish hop species. It is a beer with an extract content of 14% by weight. and alcohol content approx. 6% vol., bitterness (IBU 27*) DARK TOWER Our Dark WIEŻYCA obtains its depth of color thanks to the composition of melanoidin and chocolate malt, and the unique coffee flavor is provided by strongly roasted chocolate and aromatic malt grains with bitterness (IBU 24*) The extract of this beer is 13% by weight. and alcohol content approx. 5% vol. SPECIAL TOWER Our Special WIEŻYCA is a special occasion beer, brewed in short batches, available only in our restaurant. TASTING Beers from our brewery are available in the restaurants of the "Pod Wieżyną" Tourist House in Sobótka and the Mountain Tourist House "Pod Biskupia Kopą" in Jarnołtówek.
