Information
The crosses, one Maltese and the other Latin, stand at the crossroads to Maniów Wielki and Maniów. It is interesting that even until the 1950s, there were three crosses here (the missing one is today in the museum in Sobótka). When in the late 1930s the Nazi authorities were Germanizing Slavonic sounding place names, the name of the the village was changed from Protschkenhain an Altenrode (now: Proszkowice) to Dreisteine, or Three Stones - from the crosses standing here.
