Castles and Palaces - LGD Gromnik

Sightseeing suggestions

Information

  • Distance: 174 km
  • Duration: 10 h
  • Level: easy
The trail is a section of a larger route linking castles, mansions and palaces located in the area of operation of the LAGs Gromnik, Ślężanie and Lider. The Gromnik section connects most of the palaces and castles located in the municipalities where LAG Gromnik operates. Their sheer number is an evidence of the historical richness of the region. Today, the majority have turned into ruins, however, they do remain a reminder of the former glory of Lower Silesia. The most interesting objects on the trail include the monumental baroque palace in Żeleźnik and the beautifully restored mansion in Brzezica (unfortunately, it is closed to the public).
